Children's Fountain at Woodruff Park

Spring 2014, the Children’s Fountain at Woodruff Park opened. Located on the eastern bank of the Chattahoochee River, this new Uptown Columbus Amenity has become very popular on hot, lazy days. Our vision was to have the fountain blend seamlessly into the riverbank landscape. Using berms and large boulders harvested from the Chattahoochee River Whitewater Project, the interactive water feature dances playfully to music. All fountain equipment is located underground and out of site. Gullatte Landscape Architecture led the project from conceptual design through construction documents preparation. Further services included managing the construction project through to completion.
